Ex-People's Deputy Makeyenko is suspected of not paying UAH 71 million in taxes

The state investigative bureau announced suspicions to a number of people's deputy and ex-defender of the head of the Party of Regions faction, who immediately accused the Kiev Municipal Administration (KMA) of non-payment of taxes on the sum of 71 million hryvnia. As the press service of the SBI reports, there are allegations of non-payment of taxes on income over 387 million hryvnias, which were taken by the planter.

Law enforcement officials do not name the suspect, but from official information it is clear that he was the protector of the head of the Party of Regions faction and denounced the KMA. From now until the beginning of 2014, Volodymyr Makeenko, who was also the protector of the head of the “Party of Regions,” captured this posad. Near Makeyenko, the DBR conducted searches as part of an investigation into the non-payment of taxes in 2019 and 2023.

According to information from the SBI, they allegedly withheld over 387 million hryvnias of income outside the border from 2011 to 2018, without paying taxes on personal income and federal taxes 71.4 million hryvnia.

The Office of the Prosecutor General reports that the deputy has created a series of foreign companies that have registered under new and controlled entities. These enterprises avoided the costs of an unknown adventure, which had been over-insurance on the Makeenka market.

The SBI announced the suspicion of Volodymyr Makeenko under Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (impaired payment of taxes on particularly large scales). Yoma is threatened with up to three fates by the reduction of will with the confiscation of the lane.

In 2019, the SBI conducted searches in the village due to suspicion of non-payment of taxes, and in 2023, this was repeated.
