The head of Energoatom dismissed the top manager for a bribe
The head of Energoatom, Petro Kotin, dismissed Oleksandr Skopych from the position of director of control and audit work and compliance policy.
This was reported by the press service of Energoatom.
The company noted that in the information space, a wave of informational attacks on state-owned enterprises has begun through "commissioned false publications" with a goal that coincides with the enemy's goals - to disrupt the passage of the autumn-winter period and find new objects for massive attacks.
At the same time, the trigger that increased the effect was the case of Skopych, who was recently detained by the Security Service of Ukraine for receiving a bribe .
"In view of the public outcry and his violation of the Company's requirements in the field of anti-corruption, on September 30, 2024, by order of the Acting Chairman of the Board of JSC "NAEK Energoatom" Petro Kotin, this official was dismissed from his position," the press service said.
