The head of the UC in Prykarpattia is suspected of embezzling 280,000 hryvnias

Rewarded himself and appropriated more than UAH 280,000 - the head of a utility company in Prykarpattia was informed of the suspicion.

It is noted that under the procedural leadership of the prosecutors of the Kolomyia District Prosecutor's Office, the head of one of the communal enterprises was informed of the suspicion of misappropriation of someone else's property by an official abusing his official position, committed repeatedly and under conditions of martial law (Part 3, 4 of Article 191 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine ).

The investigation established that the suspect, abusing his official position, in 2022 and 2023 personally signed and issued orders to reward employees of the utility company and himself personally. On the basis of this, the accounting department of the enterprise carried out appropriate calculations and made payments.

Such actions caused material damage to the utility company in the amount of over UAH 280,000.
