Khmelnytskyi MSEC chief's detention extended, bail reduced
The High Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of the head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC, deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, Tetyana Krupa, who is suspected of illicit enrichment, until March 23, 2025.
At the same time, her alternative bail was reduced from UAH 280 million to UAH 260 million. According to media reports, this concerns Tetyana Krupa.
Previously, the court extended Krupa's arrest, but reduced the amount of alternative bail from UAH 300 to UAH 280 million.
On January 23, the investigating judge of the Higher Criminal Court of Ukraine partially satisfied the request of the NABU detective and extended the preventive measure of detention previously applied to the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Criminal Investigation Department. The term is 60 days, i.e. until March 23, 2025 inclusive. At the same time, the investigating judge determined a different amount of bail, which is UAH 260 million.
We will remind, in December 2024, the Court of Appeals of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court remanded in custody the chief physician of the Khmelnytskyi Regional MSEC, Tetyana Krupa.
Earlier, the High Anti-Corruption Court arrested part of the property of the head of the Khmelnytskyi Regional MSEC, Tetyana Krupa, who is suspected of illegal enrichment and issuing fictitious disability certificates. The seized property included cash in foreign currency, contracts for the purchase of land plots, branded jewelry, bank cards, and electronic devices.
Tetyana Krupa and her son Oleksandr are suspects in the EBK base.
