A lawyer was detained in Kyiv for a bribe for a reservation from mobilization

Under the procedural leadership of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office, two lawyers were notified of suspicion of inciting conscripts to provide illegal benefits for employment at a state enterprise in order to receive reservation from mobilization, as well as being placed on military registration.

This was reported in the press service of the Kyiv City Prosecutor's Office.

The investigation established that the suspects organized a scheme to evade military service of conscripts by placing men in one of the state enterprises, which ensures the performance of tasks of special state importance with access to state secrets.

In addition, using certain connections among officials of the regional TCP and SS, MMC, the suspects helped the men to register for military service before employment, guaranteeing that their clients would not receive a summons after passing the military medical commission. The price of such services ranged from 10 to 12 thousand US dollars.

One lawyer was detained while receiving another illegal benefit in the amount of 5,500 US dollars in Kyiv. At the same time, his accomplice was detained in the Cherkasy region.

Detainees have been notified of the suspicion, the question of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention is being decided.

Information about the involvement of officials of the TCP and the state enterprise in the scheme for obtaining reservations for conscripts is being checked.
