Komarnytskyi suspected of tax evasion
Former Kyiv City Council deputy Denys Komarnytskyi was suspected of tax evasion of almost 12 million hryvnias.
According to sources of Suspilny, this is Denys Komarnytsky, one of the suspects in the case of corruption in the land and budget sectors of the city. The suspicion was announced in absentia. The investigation of "Ukrainian Truth" shows that he went abroad at the beginning of this year after the operation of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau "Clean City".
The article under which the former member of parliament is charged is Part 3 of Article 212 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
The pre-trial investigation established that the former deputy purchased 48 apartments in elite residential complexes in Kyiv, some of which he sold for a total of 68 million hryvnias. At the same time, he did not pay taxes on the concluded transactions for almost 12 million hryvnias.

As a reminder, in February, NABU and SAPO conducted searches at the home of Denys Komarnytsky, the former co-chair of the Leonid Chernovetskyi Bloc faction in the Kyiv City Council.
After that, NABU and SAPO handed over suspicions to 10 people, including Komarnytsky, Deputy Head of the Kyiv City State Administration Petro Olenych, Head of the Kyiv City Council Standing Committee on Architecture, Urban Planning and Land Relations Mykhailo Terentyev, and member of this committee Olena Marchenko. According to the investigation, the government officials were engaged in illegal privatization of land for construction. In addition, they tried to take full control of the procedure for making decisions on granting land rights.
