Mindich bought 77 Kyiv apartments at 60% discount before war
A month before the start of the full-scale war, the investment fund of fugitive businessman Timur Mindich purchased 77 apartments in Kyiv at a dumping price. This is the “Closed Undiversified Venture Corporate Investment Fund “Genesis”, which Mindich has owned since October 2021.
In January 2022, the fund concluded 77 contracts for the purchase and sale of property rights for apartments in the first phase of the Riverdale business-class residential complex in Kyiv. The total amount of the transactions amounted to UAH 88.4 million.
The construction of the Riverdale residential complex in Demiivka, a historic district in the south of Kyiv, is being carried out by the development company Perfect Group together with the subcontractor Altis-Development. The project involves the construction of eight buildings with a height of 6 to 25 floors. Perfect Group actually belongs to the People's Deputy from the "Restoration of Ukraine" group, elected on the lists of the OPZZH party, Dmytro Isayenko. Altis is associated with the developer Oleksandr Hlymbovsky, who is the father-in-law of the former head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov.
The construction of the first sections of the buildings began in 2021, and they were promised to be put into operation at the end of 2024. However, as of early December 2025, only the monolithic frame of the 14-story building had been completed. The new announced completion date is the first quarter of 2027, although active construction work is not currently underway, the EP notes.
Perfect Group CEO Oleksiy Koval claims that construction work has not been suspended, but has been "slightly slowed down." According to him, the company is currently redesigning individual construction phases, and active construction of the Riverdale residential complex will resume in the first quarter of 2026.
At the same time, an EP source familiar with the project said that the reason for the construction halt is financial difficulties, which are typical for most of the company's facilities.
As a reminder, NABU and SAPO conducted searches at the home of President Zelensky's former business partner and co-owner of the Kvartal 95 studio, Timur Mindich, as well as at the home of Justice Minister German Galushchenko, who previously headed the Ministry of Energy.
It was previously reported that the co-owner of the Kvartal-95 studio, Timur Mindich, suspected of corruption, is being prepared to be put on the international wanted list. All possible measures are currently being taken to return Mindich to Ukraine. NABU Director Semen Kryvonos recalled that Mindich has already been put on the national wanted list.
