NABU and SAP concluded the case of the Deputy Chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council regarding illegal benefits

NABU and SAP completed the investigation into the suspicion of Deputy Chairman of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Council Vladyslav Kutsenko, his assistant Oleksandr Chyzhelikov, and Deputy of the Regional Council Vyacheslav Kolesnikov in providing over UAH 650,000 in illegal benefits to the director of the Regional Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine.

We will remind you that in September 2024, the SAP prosecutor decided to complete the pre-trial investigation in the case of the deputy chairman of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Council, his assistant and a member of the said council, who were found guilty of providing over UAH 650,000 in illegal benefits to one of the directors of a health care medical institution for assistance in the victory of predetermined business entities in the implementation of medical procurement.

Today, on the instructions of the SAP prosecutor, NABU detectives have opened the case materials to the defense for perusal," the prosecutor's office informs.

On February 23, 2024, the court arrested Kutsenko with an alternative bail of UAH 3 million. These funds were deposited for him and he was released from the pretrial detention center under the obligation to wear an electronic bracelet.
