The National Anti-Corruption Bureau is investigating a case of alleged false declaration by MP Artur Gerasimov about his wife's house in the Kyiv region. This is stated in the court case materials and confirmed by media sources in anti-corruption agencies.

As indicated, on October 2, then-Prosecutor General Andriy Kostin opened criminal proceedings on the alleged false declaration by People's Deputy Gerasimov.

Artur Gerasimov is a figure in the EBK database.

According to the investigation, in his 2021 declaration, People's Deputy Gerasimov indicated that he and his family used a residential building with a total area of ​​381 sq. m in the village of Plyuty, Kyiv region. The house and land then belonged to Gerasimov's mother-in-law.

In the declarations for 2022 and 2023, this property was donated to the wife of the People's Deputy. The cost of the house was 2 million UAH, and the land was 930 thousand UAH. At the same time, the market value of this house could be 520 thousand dollars. Detectives are investigating the indicated facts.

It was previously reported that a city council official is suspected of embezzling funds at bus stops.
