NAAC did not see any violations in the SBU general with an apartment for UAH 21.5 million
The National Agency for Anti-Corruption (NAAC) has completed monitoring the lifestyle of the senior head of the Cybersecurity Department of the SBU, Brigadier General Illya Vitiuk. The results of the verification showed that no inconsistencies were identified between his declared income and his actual living standards.
The inspection was started after the investigation of Slidstvo.Info journalists, who discovered that Ilya Vityuk's family owns luxury real estate worth at least 25.5 million hryvnias. The most expensive asset was an apartment in one of the premium class residential complexes in Kiev, costing 21.5 million hryvnia. The ruler of this lane is Vityuk's squad, as they added to it in 2023. It was also revealed that the mother of the villager, who works as a doctor, gives money to the capital in the amount of over 4 million hryvnias.
In addition, the journalists reported that Illya Vitiuk's squad, after the man's appointment to high office, registered a private entrepreneur and began to collect significant income. In 2022, the family earned 9.4 million hryvnia, and in 2023, their income increased to 13.4 million hryvnia.
Shortly before the publication of the investigation, the journalist from “Investigations.Info” was under pressure. Until then, the police officers of the Solomyansk military commissariat arrived and were trying to serve the summons. According to the information of journalists, such a decision could have been initiated by the intelligence officers of the Cybersecurity Department of the SBU, acting as Vitiuk, in an attempt to punish the journalist for investigating the integrity of the general's homeland.
Journalists filed a complaint with NABU about this incident, which caused a wide resonance. The post of the head of the Solomyansky TCC was transferred to the lower position of the military unit of the ZSU, and Illya Vityuk was sidelined from the military department of the SBU. The brigadier general was sent to retire from the battlefield at the front, and on the 1st of May, President Zelensky dismissed him from the head of the Cybersecurity Department.
However, Vitiuk was recently noted again at a public event dedicated to the development of radio-electronic warfare in the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Guess what, Illya Vityuk is a member of the “EBK” base.
