Defendant in NAAS case pleads guilty

The former director of the state-owned enterprise "Research Farm "Stavydlyanske" Oleksandr Malyuga agreed to a plea agreement in the case of misappropriation of over UAH 28.5 million from the state-owned enterprise.
This is stated in the decision of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated April 1.
On March 17, 2025, the High Criminal Court of Ukraine received from the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office an indictment with annexes and a plea agreement in criminal proceedings on the accusation of Malyuga of committing a criminal offense under Part 2 of Article 364 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
As is known, the anti-corruption court arrested in absentia the former deputy director of the Scientific Information and Analytical Center "Trading House of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine" Oleksandr Yevdokimov within the framework of this case.
As a reminder, NABU and SAPO suspect Yevdokimov of organizing a scheme to seize UAH 28.5 million from the state-owned enterprise "Research Farm "Stavydlyanske".
As part of the pre-trial investigation, it was established that employees of the State Enterprise "DH Stavydlyanske" in 2021 concluded contracts for the supply of wheat and sunflower seeds with a pre-determined company, which ensured the sale of agricultural products at an undervalue.
In turn, the deputy director of the center, Yevdokimov, took on the responsibility of finding enterprises-buyers of agricultural products that would buy the products at market prices, opening the appropriate bank accounts and further processing the funds received, distributing them among the accomplices in the crime. As a result, the implementation of this scheme caused losses to the state enterprise in the amount of more than 28.5 million UAH.
We previously reported that the accused former Supreme Court Chief Justice's duties were extended.
