A cemetery worker is suspected of bribery for a burial place

$1,000 for a burial place - the police reported the suspicion of an employee of the Southern Cemetery.

The law enforcement officers established that the suspect was approached by a man with the question of allocating a place for the burial of the deceased.

The attacker reported that the cemetery is semi-closed, so only burial in a family grave is possible, but for a monetary reward in the amount of $1,000, she will be able to influence the officials of the utility company, and find someone else's grave, which no one has looked after for a long time.

Therefore, the investigators detained the violator while she was receiving all the amounts of illegal benefits.

The woman was charged with suspicion under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine - abuse of influence, and the issue of choosing a preventive measure is currently being resolved. She faces up to eight years in prison with confiscation of property.
