The SSU has exposed the ex-deputy of the Volyn OVA in the scheme of sending evaders abroad

The SSU exposed a scheme in Volyn for evasion of mobilization and illegal departure of men of conscription age. According to mass media, the organizer of the scheme was the former deputy head of the Volyn regional military administration, Myroslava Yakymchuk . As of today, it is also a member of the EBK database.

As the press center of the SBU reports, while working in her position, she created a mechanism that allowed evaders to leave the country under the guise of humanitarian cargo drivers. The cost of such services reached 5 thousand dollars for one client.

The head of a local charity fund, which registered conscripts for the positions of drivers of international flights, also participated in the scheme. Through the "Path" system, where the data of conscripts was entered, they were given the opportunity to leave Ukraine as "volunteers".

Seven accomplices were involved in finding clients and transferring money. The law enforcement officers documented the illegal activity and detained the organizer. During the searches, phones and laptops with evidence of their illegal activities were seized from the suspects.

The ex-official and her accomplices were charged with the following articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

• Part 1 of Art. 255 (creation or participation in a criminal organization),

• Part 4 of Art. 28 and Part 1 of Art. 114-1 (obstructing the activity of the Armed Forces by a group of persons),

• Part 4 of Art. 28 and Part 3 of Art. 332 (illegal transportation of persons across the state border).

The suspect is currently in custody. She and her accomplices face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.
