Volyn customs corruption case sent to court image

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office has sent an indictment to the court against 21 individuals involved in a criminal organization at the Volyn customs, whose activities caused losses to the state in the amount of over UAH 475 million.

This was reported by the press service of the SAPO. According to media reports, the organizer of the case is considered to be former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Gromyk.

Together with him, the following appear in the case: organization member Volodymyr Borysevich, Oksana Shevchuk, Mykola Kolyada, former state inspector of the customs post "Yagodyn" of the Volyn Customs Mykola Kolyada, the middle-level leader of the criminal organization Andriy Radobenko, and others.

On March 19, 2025, the SAPO prosecutor, based on the materials of the NABU pre-trial investigation, sent to the court an indictment in the case against a criminal organization at the Volyn Customs, whose members ensured the illegal minimization of customs payments in the customs area, thereby causing losses to the state in the amount of more than 475 million UAH. In the case, 10 officials of the Volyn Customs and 11 members of the criminal organization were notified of suspicion. The actions of the individuals were qualified under Part 1 of Article 255, Part 2, 3 of Article 212, Part 2 of Article 364, Part 1 of Article 366 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine

Earlier it became known that the HIgh Anti-Corruption Court extended until April 21 the term of office of the former employee of the Security Service of Ukraine Oleksandr Gromyk.
