The higher anti-corruption court rejected the complaint of former People's Deputy Arkady Kornatsky regarding the cancellation of the suspicion in the case of illegal receipt of compensation for housing rent. According to NABU and SAP, Kornatskyi illegally received 914,000 hryvnias by hiding the presence of his own home in Kyiv.

According to the court's decision, Kornatskyi's complaint about the notification of suspicion of a criminal offense, as well as the notification about the change of the previously served suspicion, was rejected. The decision can be appealed to the Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court within five days from the moment of announcement.

Earlier, the Higher Anti-Corruption Court decided to impose a preventive measure on Kornatskyi in the form of bail in the amount of UAH 908,400. In addition, the ex-People's Deputy was obliged to appear at every request, to inform about a change of place of residence or work, and to refrain from communicating with witnesses.

The investigation believes that from 2014 to 2019, Arkady Kornatsky illegally received compensation from the budget of the Apparatus of the Verkhovna Rada for staying in a hotel, although he owned his own apartment in Kyiv. During this period, the ex-people's deputy illegally received 914 thousand hryvnias.
