Judge Silich declares income and daughter’s apartment
Ivan Silich, a judge of the Rozhyshchenskyi District Court accused of corruption, has published his income declaration for 2025. Last year, the official earned over a million hryvnias, and his daughter became the owner of an apartment in the village of Zmiyinets. According to the declaration published on March 20, in 2025, Ivan Silich earned over 1.3 million hryvnias as a judge – approximately 115 thousand hryvnias per month. His wife declared another 1.1 million hryvnias in income from the sale of a car. This is probably a 2016 Infiniti QX60, which the official mentioned in previous declarations.
The judge did not indicate any cash or bank savings, although he declared UAH 400,000 in cash in 2024. At the same time, he and his daughter have bank accounts.
The Silich family lives in a house with an area of 128.5 m² in the village of Zmiyinets, Lutsk district, which belongs to the judge's wife. She also owns a service station with an area of 356 m², four land plots with a total area of about 0.3 hectares and an unfinished outbuilding. The new asset in the declaration was the apartment of her daughter Maria: in December 2025, she purchased a 42 m² apartment in Zmiyinets worth 1.1 million UAH.
The judge does not have his own car - he uses a 2010 Volvo XC90 free of charge, which probably belongs to his sister Lyubov Silich.

We will remind, in July 2025, law enforcement officers informed Ivan Silich about suspicion of extortion of unlawful benefit and fraud. According to the investigation, the judge, together with an accomplice, incited a woman from Volyn to give a bribe to one of the judges for making a "necessary" decision in a civil case. It was about 17 thousand UAH and 400 dollars, while the suspects did not plan to share the bribe with the judge.
In August 2025, the High Council of Justice suspended Silich from administering justice. In early 2026, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office completed the pre-trial investigation and referred the case to court.
