Kyiv appellate court judge dismissed for misconduct image

The High Council of Justice dismissed Yuriy Slyva from the position of judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal due to his commission of a significant disciplinary offense.

This decision was supported by the 12 members of the Supreme Judicial Council present on April 22.

Previously, the Disciplinary Chamber of the Supreme Judicial Council brought Judge Slyva to disciplinary responsibility in the form of a motion to dismiss the judge from office. The judge committed a significant disciplinary offense.

The High Council of Justice decided: to dismiss Yuriy Mykhailovych Slyva from the position of judge of the Kyiv Court of Appeal on the basis of Clause 3, Part 6, Article 126 of the Constitution of Ukraine

– the decision was announced by the head of the body, Hryhoriy Usyk.

Yuriy Slyva  is a figure in the EBK database.

As a reminder, the High Anti-Corruption Court extended the term of office of judges of the Kyiv Court of Appeal Viktor Hlynyany and Yuriy Slyva until June 9 .
