The technical supervision engineer will be tried for corruption in the construction of the school image

In Ivano-Frankivsk, a technical supervision engineer will be tried for corruption during the construction of a school in the village of Chukalivka. The accused is charged with official negligence and excessive waste of 13 million hryvnias of budget money.

The investigators found out that the technical supervision engineer did not properly monitor the construction of an educational complex with an elementary school and a kindergarten in the village of Chukalivka, Ivano-Frankivsk community.

After the completion of the first stage of construction, he approved the reporting documentation provided by the contractor with false information about the scope of the work performed. Their value was more than 45 million 600 thousand hryvnias

The fact that more than 13 million hryvnias were transferred from the budget was confirmed by the conclusions of the judicial construction and technical examination.

The prosecutors of the Ivano-Frankivsk District Prosecutor's Office sent the indictment to the court against the engineer under Part 2 of Art. 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

On September 17, 2024, the technical supervision engineer was informed of the suspicion due to official negligence during construction work at the Chukaliv school.

On October 3, 2024, the former head of the Department of Capital Construction in Ivano-Frankivsk region was accused of embezzling 1 million 700 thousand hryvnias during the construction of an educational complex with an elementary school and a kindergarten in Chukalivka.
