In Lviv, a military man who received a bribe for placing a conscript in the rear was convicted. The judgment in case No. 463/8202/24 was issued by the Lychakiv District Court of the city of Lviv.

It is indicated that a shooter of the Military Law and Order Service of one of the units received a bribe of 114,000 hryvnias from a mobilized person for a promise to place him in service in the rear.

The court fined the soldier for what he did.

In the case file, it is noted that the gunner of the guard group and patrol post service of the Military Law and Order Service of one of the military units, for a bribe, promised to arrange a mobilized man for service in the rear unit, which is stationed in the territory of the Rivne or Lviv regions, so that he would not take a direct part in hostilities.

The soldier received 114 thousand hryvnias for his services.

After receiving the money in April 2024, he was detained.

Regarding the military, a criminal case was initiated under Part 2 of Article 369-2 of the Criminal Code (abuse of influence). It is known from the case materials that the accused entered into a plea agreement with the prosecutor.

The court examined all the evidence and sentenced the man to a fine of 114,000 hryvnias, as well as confiscating 114,000 hryvnias of bribes from the state's income.

The verdict can still be appealed.
