In Lviv, three law enforcement officers were detained, who, according to the investigation, provoked a doctor to a bribe through a fake client, in order to get 30,000 dollars from her for closing the case. Precautionary measures have already been chosen for them. and

According to the investigation, an employee of the anti-corruption department of the STS in the Lviv region together with two operatives decided to "expose" the head of the stroke department of the regional hospital for corruption. To do this, they sought out an allegedly sick person, equipped him with listening devices, gave him money and sent him to her for a consultation.

According to the plan, the woman had to agree to take a bribe for the unhindered completion of the treatment course, and later provide the necessary extracts to extend the validity of the MSEC's disability certificate. The doctor refused the money, so the impersonator left it in the office. After that, the suspects contacted the doctor and demanded $30,000 to close the criminal case, which in fact did not exist

The SBI noted that the law enforcement officers documented the actions of the members of the group. After that, they were informed about the suspicion of bribery provocation based on the previous conspiracy of a group of persons (Part 2 of Article 15, Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 370 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The taxpayer was informed of the suspicion of fraud committed on a particularly large scale (Part 5 of Article 190 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

Precautionary measures have already been chosen for the suspects — bail of UAH 180,000 for both law enforcement officers and detention with the possibility of a bail of UAH 1.1 million for the taxman. In addition, two of the defendants were dismissed from their jobs, and the third was suspended from performing official duties.

We will remind you that HACC refused to appoint an examination in the case of Odesa deputy Ivan Boychenko, who is accused of receiving 40 thousand dollars of illegal benefits.

We also previously wrote that the National Police and Security Service of Ukraine seized almost UAH 8 million from a doctor from Khmelnytskyi who was exposed for bribery .
