HCAC scheduled a meeting in the case of the Odesa Oblast ex-prosecutor

HCAC acknowledged the meeting with the Office of the Prosecutor of the Odessa region

On June 10, 2024, the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court found a hearing with the prosecutor of the Odessa region, Oleg Zhuchenko, accusing him of fraudulently obtaining illegal benefits, as well as the violation of a fragmented document.

“Organize a preparatory hearing with a criminal prosecutor for the charges of Oleg Zhuchenko with criminal offenses, transferred by Part 2 of Article 28, Part 2 of Article 364, Part 4 of Article 368, Part 4 of Article 358 K To Ukraine, at 10:40 10 June 2024 at the office of Vishchogo anti-corruption court,” the decision is made.

Oleg Zhuchenko is a member of the “EBK” database.

Suspected persons in the “Odessa police” have to undergo 16 incarcerations. Investigators found that over the course of 2016-2019, a malicious group developed a scheme to transfer pennies from the municipal budget and land plots for their further oblivion. The plots were given into the hands of their lovers, bypassing competitions, and then the mayor’s officials took away either pennies or apartments.

These communities are suspected of illegal activities (the withdrawal of budget funds, communal mines and land), the inheritance of which community and power was assigned a surplus of 689 million UAH.
