HACC extended Judge Artymovych's detention, reducing bail

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court extended the detention of Vasyl Artimovych, a judge of the Lviv Regional Commercial Court, until March 9, but reduced his bail from UAH 10 million to UAH 6 million as an alternative. NABU and SAPO suspect him of abuse of influence for illegal gain.
The request of the senior detective of the NABU, approved by the prosecutor of the SAPO, to extend the term of detention of the suspect (Artymovych - ed.) in criminal proceedings is partially granted. The suspect's term of detention is extended for 33 days, i.e. until March 9, 2025. The suspect is set bail in the amount of UAH 6,000,000.
As a reminder, in December 2024, the High Anti-Corruption Court applied a preventive measure in the form of detention until February 10, 2025, inclusive, with the alternative of paying UAH 20 million in bail to a judge of a commercial court in one of the regions, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office (SAP) reported.
Later it became known that the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left in custody, but reduced the bail amount from 20 to 10 million UAH , set as an alternative to the judge of the Commercial Court of Lviv Region, Vasyl Artimovich.
