HACC extended the duties of the assistant to the deputy head of the regional council

The high anti-corruption court extended until December 10 the period of validity of the duties assigned to the assistant of the deputy chairman of the Zaporizhzhya Regional Council, Vladyslav Kutsenko, Oleksandr Chyzhelikov, in the case of providing an illegal benefit.

Such a decision was made by HACC, "Slovo i Dilo" reports.

As you know, the anti-corruption court released Chyzhelikov on personal recognizance. The following duties were assigned to him: to arrive at the first request; to inform about your departure from Zaporizhzhia; to report a change of residence and/or place of work; refrain from communicating with other suspects in the case and hand over foreign passports.

The SAP prosecutor asked to extend the duties for another two months. The judge partially supported the petition, extending the duties, except for the ban on leaving Zaporizhzhia.

The request of the SAP prosecutor to extend the period of validity of the duties assigned to the suspect (Chizhelikov - ed.) in criminal proceedings should be partially granted. To extend to the suspect (Chizhelykova - ed.) the period of validity of the obligations provided for in Part 5 of Art. 194 of the CCP, until December 10, 2024 inclusive

We will remind you that NABU and SAP have exposed the deputy chairman of the Zaporizhia Regional Council, Vladyslav Kutsenko, and two other people in an attempt to bribe the director of a health care medical institution.

According to the investigation, during the years 2023-2024, the suspects repeatedly provided one of the directors of the regional hospital with funds so that he would contribute to the victory of predetermined companies in the tenders announced by the medical institution, as well as the opening of an account by the medical institution in a specified bank and the placement of funds in it. On February 19, the persons were exposed "in the heat of the moment" immediately after they provided the next part of the illegal benefit. The total amount of illegal profit reaches more than UAH 650,000.
