HACC extends investigation into ex-deputy minister

The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended until March 25, 2025 the pre-trial investigation in the case of suspicion of former Deputy Minister of Energy Oleksandr Heil and others in receiving illegal benefits.
The motion is partially granted. The term of the pre-trial investigation in the criminal proceedings on suspicion of (Hale, Serhiy Pylypchuk, Serhiy Kobylatsky and Yevhen Lut – ed.) is extended until March 25, 2025 inclusive.
As is known, the anti-corruption court arrested Hale with the alternative of UAH 25 million, and his confidant Pylypchuk was arrested with the alternative of UAH 65 million.
It was previously reported that the High Anti-Corruption Court extended until March 16 the investigation into the case of MP Iryna Kormyshkina's suspicion of illegal enrichment and false declaration.
In addition, NABU and SAPO completed investigating the case on suspicion of abuse of power by First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food Taras Vysotsky, as well as former Deputy Minister of Economy Oleksandr Hryban.
