HACC Extends Investigation of Zadorozhnyi's Case Until April
The High Anti-Corruption Court extended until April 15 the investigation into the case of suspicion of MP Mykola Zadorozhny in extorting an illegal benefit and organizing its receipt.
The motion is partially granted. The term of the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings is extended to nine months, i.e. until April 15, 2025 inclusive.
As is known, on July 17, the anti-corruption court applied a preventive measure in the form of a bail of UAH 3.028 million to People's Deputy Zadorozhny. He was also assigned the following obligations: to appear upon each request; to report a change of residence and/or work; not to leave Kyiv and Kyiv region without permission; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.
We previously wrote that the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court removed the electronic bracelet from MP Mykola Zadorozhny, but extended the validity of the remaining duties until March 14.
Let us remind you that Mykola Zadorozhny is a person involved in the EBK base.
