The Supreme Court has scheduled for October 1 the consideration of the complaint of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office for the closure of criminal proceedings against the former head of the Ternopil Regional Council, Mykhailo Holovko, for false declaration.

As is known, the High Anti-Corruption Court found former head of the Ternopil Regional Council Mykhailo Holovko guilty of false declaration. However, the Appellate Chamber of the Supreme Anti-Corruption Court overturned the verdict and closed the criminal proceedings due to the establishment of the absence of a criminal offense. Therefore, the SAPO prosecutor filed a cassation appeal against this decision.
