Official registered marriage without military documents for a bribe

A district registry office official will be tried in Bukovina for registering a marriage without military registration documents for money, the Chernivtsi Regional Prosecutor's Office reports.

Thus, prosecutors submitted an indictment to the court against the head of the district department of state registration of civil status acts. She is accused of receiving unlawful benefit (Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

According to the investigation, the official demanded and received a bribe for registering a marriage without providing military servicemen with a military registration document and without notifying the TCP and the SS.

She was detained by law enforcement officers after receiving $300.

Recall that earlier the Supreme Court of Criminal Appeals extended the duties of the accused prosecutor of the UCP.
