The plot of the case: in February 2020, during the investigation of criminal proceedings, the deputy head of one of the offices of the Vinnytsia Regional Council was detained while receiving a $300 bribe.
It is known that employees of the Strategic Investigations Department took part in the special operation together with the investigators of the Investigative Department of the GUNP in Vinnytsia Oblast under the procedural guidance of the Prosecutor's Office of Vinnytsia Oblast.
According to their data, an employee of local self-government bodies received an illegal benefit, as the first, so-called, payments in the amount of 300 US dollars, for the provision of non-residential premises in a building owned by territorial communities of the Vinnytsia region, located on the territory of the city of Vinnytsia and unhindered use of them by an entrepreneur for commercial purposes.
Investigators conduct preliminary investigations (investigative) and procedural actions aimed at objectively establishing the circumstances of a criminal offense, including conducting a number of inspections and searches, interrogating the applicant and witnesses. As a matter of fact, criminal proceedings have been initiated under Part 3 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

At the moment, it is not known from open sources at what stage this case is, however, it is known that Borodiy was dismissed from his position.
