The plot of the case: in December 2023, former prosecutor Rostyslav Ilnytskyi, who celebrated a two-day luxurious wedding with ex-employee of the Lviv State Bureau of Investigation Roksolana Moskva in the five-star Emily Resort complex near Lviv, was declared wanted. Since December 1, Ilnytsky was wanted for forging documents.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Ilnytskyi was wanted under three parts of Article 358 of the Criminal Code. Including:
● part 1 (forgery of a certificate or other official document issued or certified by an enterprise, institution, organization, citizen-entrepreneur, notary public, state registrar);
● part 3 (actions provided for by the first or second parts of this article, committed repeatedly or by prior collusion by a group of persons);
● Part 4 (use of a knowingly forged document).
On July 6, 2024, the Security Service of Ukraine detained in Lviv former prosecutor Rostyslav Ilnytskyi, who was declared wanted, as well as his lawyer mother-in-law Bohdana Moskva, who was involved in schemes for evaders. Ilnytskyi hid in his mother-in-law's attic, to which law enforcement officers came to search.
Later it became known that the former prosecutor Rostyslav Ilnytskyi, detained in the case of forging documents for traveling abroad, mobilized to the ranks of the ZSU.
Persons potentially involved in the corruption scheme: in addition to Rostyslav Ilnytskyi, the ex-prosecutor's mother-in-law may also be involved in the scheme
Bohdana Moscow. She was declared a suspect under Part 3 of Art. 369-2 (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of undue benefit for oneself or a third party for influencing decision-making by a person authorized to perform state functions) of the CCU.
Assets: in the declaration for 2022, Rostyslav Ilnytsky indicated that he owns a plot of land in the Lviv region, and also has the right to free use of an apartment in the city of Lviv.
Ilnytsky's income for the first year of the full-scale war amounted to UAH 710,437. In cash, the ex-prosecutor declared 123,000 UAH and 95,800 dollars.
In 2023, Ilnytskyi declared his wife Roksolana's property, namely a residential building in Lviv (valued at UAH 605,000).
In addition, Ruslana Moskva owns an Audi Q8 car (worth UAH 2,324,823).
The ex-prosecutor's income for 2023 was UAH 433,777 in wages.
Ilnytskyi's cash savings also changed - in the same year, he declared 197,000 UAH and 102,500 dollars. His wife has 90,000 hryvnias, 25,500 dollars and 7,200 euros in cash.
Persons who should have responded to corruption schemes : law enforcement agencies responded in time to the criminal activities of Rostyslav Ilnytskyi.
Scandals: on October 7-8, 2023, former prosecutor Rostyslav Ilnytskyi had a two-day luxurious wedding with ex-employee of the Lviv DBR Roksolana Moskva in the five-star Emily Resort complex near Lviv.
The celebration lasted two days. On the first day, according to the media, there were more than 300 guests at the wedding. Oleksandr Ponomaryov, Olya Polyakova, and the "Sun Bells" band performed for them. The presenter of the holiday was showman Hryhoriy Reshetnik. On the second day, the guests were entertained by Jidzo, and 500 people were invited.
Only a two-meter wedding cake, according to confectioners, cost about 100,000 hryvnias.
According to journalists, all attempts to contact Ilnitsky and Moscow to find out where they got the money for such a lavish wedding during the war turned out to be in vain. In the network, the wedding was called "a feast of the plague." Ukrainians wrote that even Hollywood stars could envy such a wedding, and such a lavish celebration in the midst of a war with the Russian Federation is inappropriate.
