Case story: On February 16, 2026, it became known that the Radyvylivskyi District Court of the Rivne region sentenced neurologist Ihor Lisnychy, who helped arrange deferrals for two conscripts for bribery. The defendant was fined 34 thousand UAH and deprived of the right to hold positions as a member of the Volga People's Commissariat for a year.
As stated in the verdict, at the time of the crime, Ihor Lisnychyy worked as a neuropathologist in the therapeutic department of the Radyvylivka Central City Hospital and was a member of the military medical commission.
In September 2025, the accused received 4 thousand UAH for the conclusion, on the basis of which the man was granted a two-month deferment. According to the document, he was recognized as temporarily unfit for military service.
In addition, in December 2025 and January 2026, the doctor again received UAH 5,000 for fictitious registration of another man for inpatient treatment and preparation of medical records. These documents were to serve as a basis for extending the deferral while undergoing the MMC.
Ihor Lisnychyy pleaded guilty and cooperated with the investigation.
Judge Olena Delalova found him guilty under Part 4 of Article 354 and Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (obtaining unlawful benefit) and imposed a fine of UAH 34,000 with deprivation of the right to hold positions as a member of the VLK for a period of one year. The verdict can still be appealed in the court of appeal.
Persons potentially involved in corruption schemes: open sources do not provide information about Lisnychy's possible accomplices.
Assets: in the declaration for 2024, Ihor Lisnychyy indicated that he owns a residential building and two land plots in the village of Oparypsy.
In addition, he declared a Honda Civic car purchased in 2018 (although he decided not to indicate the cost).
The Forester's income for the same year was 608,741 UAH.
The Forester declared 500,000 UAH in cash.
Persons who should have reacted: law enforcement agencies responded in a timely manner to the criminal activities of the Forester, presenting him with a suspicion.
