The story of the case: In December 2023, Vitaliy Podorozhnyi, in order to receive a bribe, initiated an unscheduled inspection of "AKSIOMA-BUD" LLC, which carried out the construction of the plant. After the inspection began, Podorozhny told the management of the enterprise through intermediaries that in order to positively close the unscheduled inspection, the enterprise needs to conclude a contract for the supply of construction materials with AK GROUP-BETON LLC.
After that, it was necessary to transfer 500 thousand hryvnias as payment under this contract. Podorozhny noted that the refusal to enter into such a contract will have negative consequences for the enterprise, in particular in terms of passing the inspection. He also noted that the commission allegedly already discovered a large number of documentation violations that make further work of the enterprise impossible.
On January 26, an agreement was concluded between the company "AKSIOMA-BUD" LLC and the controlled Travel Company "AK GROUP-BETON". Podorozhnyi noted that after the transfer of funds, based on the results of the inspection, an act will be drawn up about the absence of AXIOMA-BUD LLC at the place of registration, and Podorozhnyi will not re-send his subordinate employees to conduct the inspection.
On February 8, the company from which Vitaly Podorozhny demanded a bribe transferred 480,000 hryvnias to the account of AK GROUP-BETON. On the same day, Vitaly Podorozhnyi was detained.
