Case story: The Frankivskyi District Court of Lviv sentenced Zinovy Sennik, Deputy Director for Administrative and Economic Work of the separate structural unit "Lviv Professional College of Food and Processing Industry of the National University of Food Technologies", who received a 35 thousand UAH bribe for the transfer of premises on the college's territory for use without an official contract. The court punished him with a fine of 68 thousand UAH.
According to the case materials, in exchange for a bribe, the deputy director of the college, Zinovy Sennyk, promised not to create obstacles to renting a 30 m2 premises on the college's territory for entrepreneurial activity. This premises was to be transferred after going through all procedures at the State Property Fund. At the same time, he promised to transfer a larger 100 m2 premises to the entrepreneur for use without concluding an official lease agreement. For this, Zinoviy Sennyk demanded a bribe of UAH 35,000.

The transfer of money took place in early August 2023 in a car in a parking lot.
In court, Zinoviy Sennyk pleaded not guilty. He refused to explain his promise to transfer the premises for use without concluding a lease agreement.
Judge Stepan Dzendzyura found Zinoviy Sennyk guilty of receiving unlawful benefit (Part 1 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) and sentenced him to a fine of UAH 68,000. The perpetrator was also deprived of the right to hold managerial positions in government bodies and state institutions for a period of two years. The verdict can still be appealed.
