Case story: investigators of the main department of the national police in Khmelnytskyi region reported suspicions of a deputy of the Kamianets-Podilskyi city council in falsely declaring assets worth over 8 million UAH. Among the undeclared property, law enforcement officers also found an ultralight aircraft. "Slidstvo.Info" has established that law enforcement officers suspect Serhiy Vedernikov from "Servant of the People".

Based on the collected evidence, investigators of the Investigation Department of the Main Police Department in Khmelnytskyi region announced suspicions against three deputies under Part 1 of Article 366-2 (Declaration of false information) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Procedural management in criminal proceedings is carried out by the Khmelnytskyi Regional Prosecutor's Office.

However, the MP denies the accusations, calling them a technical error. He also denies the existence of the plane and explains that it is just "a designer who didn't think it needed to be declared."

Thus, during a conversation with a journalist from "Slidstva.Info", Serhiy Vedernikov called the plane "too loud a word" and explained that he bought himself a designer to assemble it himself. Although, according to the people's deputy, today the vehicle is still not completed and stands disassembled in the city of Kamianets-Podilskyi, which is in the Khmelnytskyi region.

Assets: According to Serhiy Vedernikov's declaration for 2024, he owns the trademark of the company "ViknoPlus", and is also the owner of the private enterprise "Kapoglass". The income from his entrepreneurial activities last year exceeded 11 million hryvnias. In addition, the deputy has 8 loans and almost 20 million hryvnias in cash.
