The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the decision to confiscate the residential building and land of Ruslan Firsov, head of the "Fastiv" customs clearance sector of the "Pivdenny" customs post of Kyiv Customs, and his mother, Tetyana Firsova, in a civil procedure.

This was reported by the press service of the AC HACC, without mentioning names.

According to media reports, it is about Firsov.

The day before, the court confiscated a residential building with a total area of 284.9 square meters in the Kyiv region and six land plots with an area of 0.1381 hectares. The defense filed an appeal against this decision.

On February 5, the Administrative Court of the Supreme Court of Justice upheld the Supreme Court of Justice's decision of September 17, 2024, declaring the assets of the head of one of the sectors of the Kyiv Customs and his mother unfounded and collecting them as state revenue. Based on the results of the review, the panel of judges of the Appeals Chamber left the Supreme Court's decision unchanged, and dismissed the appeals of the defendant's representatives and the person who believed that her rights were violated by the decision.

– the decision states.

Ruslan Firsov is a suspect in the EBK database.

As a reminder, the SAPO requested to confiscate the assets of the Kyiv Customs official Ruslan Firsov. According to the prosecutor's office, in April 2023, the mother of the Kyiv customs officer purchased a residential building and six land plots, which constitute one estate in the suburbs of Kyiv, for more than UAH 8.6 million. Later, she issued a power of attorney to her son and his wife to represent her on all issues related to these real estate objects.

However, an analysis of the official's mother's income and expenses established the impossibility of acquiring these real estate objects from legal sources. At the same time, the official himself, who has been working in civil service positions for over 25 years, and his wife, who worked in customs authorities until April 2023, did not possess legal income and assets to purchase the above-mentioned property.
