HACC Appeals Chamber to Review Halushko Case on Jan 7
The Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled for January 7 the consideration of an appeal against the verdict acquitting the former head of the Main Housing and Operational Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleh Galushko, of charges of embezzlement of UAH 21.49 million.
This decision was made by the AC HACC.
As is known, the anti-corruption court acquitted Halushko of charges of embezzlement of UAH 21.49 million. The prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office filed an appeal against this decision.

We will remind, in December 2020, the Prosecutor General's Office referred the case of Galushko about apartments in Kharkiv to the National Anti-Corruption Bureau after he was notified of suspicion of embezzlement of UAH 29.21 million for the purchase of 60 apartments for military personnel in Kharkiv.
On February 3, 2021, NABU notified Halushka of the change in the previously reported suspicion of embezzlement of property to the negligence of a military official towards his service, which caused serious consequences in the conditions of a special period.
Earlier it became known that a Kyiv City State Administration official is suspected of negligence in the amount of UAH 63 million.
