HACC Appeals Chamber to Review Ex-Kyiv Regional Official’s Case

The Appeal Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has scheduled a hearing for March 17 to consider the appeal of the SAPO prosecutor against the verdict acquitting the former head of the Service for Children and Family Affairs of the Kyiv Regional State Administration, Serhiy Andriyash, of charges of abuse.
As is known, the anti-corruption court acquitted Andriyash of charges of abuse due to the absence of elements of a crime in his actions. The prosecutor of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office filed an appeal against this verdict.
To complete preparations for the appeal proceedings on the prosecutor's appeal against the verdict of the High Anti-Corruption Court of December 3, 2024. To schedule the appeal hearing for 09:30 on March 17, 2025 in the premises of the Appeal Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court
We will remind, back in 2018, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine transferred Andriyash's case to the NABU. After which, NABU detectives completed the investigation into the case. In 2019, the SAPO referred it to the Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv. After the HACC began its work, the proceedings were transferred there.
And in December 2024, the Supreme Court acquitted the former head of the KRSA Children's Service.
