Appeal left bail for ex-head of commercial court unchanged

The Appeal Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court left unchanged the preventive measure applied to the former chairman of the Western Appeal Economic Court, Borys Plotnitsky.

As is known, the anti-corruption court arrested Plotnitsky. An alternative for him was determined to be UAH 30.28 million in bail. These funds were paid and the suspect was released from custody . Plotnitsky was assigned a number of responsibilities. His defense attorney filed an appeal against the preventive measure.

The decision of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated 30.12.2024 on the application of a preventive measure in the form of detention to the suspect (Plotnitsky - ed.) shall be left unchanged, and the appeals shall be dismissed. The decision shall enter into force from the moment of its promulgation and shall not be subject to appeal.
