Appeal reduces bail for former head of Khmelnytskyi MSEC image

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court has left in custody the former head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC, a deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, Tetyana Krupa, but reduced the alternative bail from UAH 230 million to UAH 130 million. The Appellate Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court made this decision on March 31, reports Slovo i Dilo.

As is known, the anti-corruption court extended Krupa's arrest for another two months. At the same time, her alternative bail was reduced from UAH 260 million to UAH 230 million. The defense filed an appeal against this decision.

The appeal shall be partially satisfied. The decision of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated March 20, 2025, in part determining the suspect Krupa Tetyana Vasylivna an alternative bail in the amount of UAH 230 million, shall be canceled. In this part, a new decision shall be made, which shall determine the suspect Krupa Tetyana Vasylivna an alternative measure of restraint in the form of bail in the amount of UAH 130 million.

We also previously reported that the Supreme Court of Ukraine extended until October 5 the pre-trial investigation into the case of suspicion of the head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC, deputy of the Khmelnytskyi Regional Council, Tetyana Krupa, in illegal enrichment.
