Prosecutor Hunko’s obligations extended until May 24 image

The HIgh Anti-Corruption Court has extended the term of office of Oleg Hunko, a prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office, until May 24. The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office accuses him of receiving illegal benefits.

Earlier, the anti-corruption court extended Hunko's arrest with alternative bail. Money was paid for Hunko and he was released from custody. The suspect was given the following obligations: to appear upon every request; not to leave Kyiv without permission; to report a change of residence; to refrain from communicating with four people; to hand over his foreign passports and to wear an electronic bracelet.

Later, the electronic bracelet was removed from him, but the rest of the obligations remained unchanged. The SAPO prosecutor requested that they be continued.

To extend the term of the duties assigned to the accused (Hunka – ed.) by two months by the decision of the investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court dated 01.11.2024. To establish the term of the duties assigned to the accused until May 24, 2025 inclusive
