Bolokhovets Released on Bail

Yuriy Bolokhovets, General Director of the State Enterprise "Forests of Ukraine" from Chernihiv, was released from pretrial detention on bail.

This was reported by Ukrainian media.

At the end of July this year, he was placed in custody by a court decision on suspicion of illicit enrichment. The court determined an alternative to detention - bail in the amount of UAH 91 million.

However, according to media reports, at the end of last week, the HACC reduced the bail amount tenfold to UAH 9.1 million. Thus, the court effectively prepared the ground for the official's release from custody.

According to media sources, on September 9, 2025, the bail was paid in full and on September 10, Bolokhovets was able to return to work, despite numerous facts of abuse at the enterprise subordinate to him.
