People's Deputy Lyudmila Marchenko from Ternopil, suspected of bribery, published a declaration for 2024. According to it, the People's Deputy transferred to herself a house and one of the land plots previously owned by her husband, former Lviv Region Commissioner Ivan Marchenko. The divorce process from Lyudmila Marchenko has been ongoing since 2022. The property is located in an elite village near Ternopil. The official also indicated that she lives with another husband, Petro Boyko, who works in the Prosecutor General's Office.

In the declaration for 2024, Marchenko indicated that she rents an apartment in Kyiv with an area of 96 m². The apartment is occupied by the deputy herself, her son Ivan Marchenko, and her co-habitant, a prosecutor of the Prosecutor General's Office Petro Boyko. Lyudmila Marchenko also indicated for the first time that she solely owns a plot of land with an area of 883 m² and an unfinished house with an area of 368 m² in the village of Velyki Gai. The cost of the house and the land plot under it in the declaration of significant changes is indicated within UAH 11.6 million.

In November 2023, the Marchenkos divided their property in court. According to the court registry, the Ternopil City District Court approved a settlement agreement, according to which the People's Deputy was recognized as having the right of personal private ownership of a land plot and an unfinished house in Velyki Hay.

In the 2023 declaration, these two real estate properties were listed under her husband Ivan Marchenko, with whom she is currently in divorce proceedings. The new declaration also lists Ivan Marchenko's real estate - an apartment with an area of 71 m² in Ternopil and a garage. He also owns another plot in the village of Velyki Hai with an area of 382 m².

In the declaration for 2024, Marchenko listed five cars. Ivan Marchenko owns a 1978 VAZ 2103 and a 2014 Volkswagen Touareg SUV worth UAH 520,000. This car was purchased in 2019. In 2021, Lyudmila Marchenko purchased a 2017 Honda Civic worth UAH 100,000. In addition, she has the right to drive a 2017 Toyota Land Cruiser, which belongs to Ivan Tsipovyazu. She also listed the car used by Petro Boyko, a 2008 Škoda Octavia A5.

In the Verkhovna Rada, Lyudmila Marchenko earned almost UAH 778,000 in 2024. The deputy also received UAH 169,000 in alimony. The declaration also states that her husband Ivan Marchenko works at the Petro Sahaidachny Academy of Land Forces, but it does not indicate how much he received in salary and pension. Petro Boyko, who lives with Lyudmila Marchenko, noted that he received UAH 1.5 million from the Prosecutor General's Office. The MP has UAH 4,000 in bank accounts. Petro Boyko has $2,000 in cash and UAH 145,000 in a bank account.
