Former village council deputy suspected of asset concealment
In the Rivne region, a former deputy of one of the village councils of the Dubno district was reported on suspicion of entering inaccurate data into an electronic declaration.
According to the investigation, in the declarations for 2023 and 2024, the official intentionally indicated false information about his property in the amount of more than 30 million UAH.
In particular, the former deputy did not declare 6 real estate properties and 4 farm buildings with a total area of 1,700 square meters. He also hid the presence of trucks and cars, semi-trailers, and about 40 land plots with a total area of over 60 hectares.
The investigation qualifies the official's actions under the article on declaring false information, which provides for criminal liability. The investigation is ongoing, the exact amount of hidden assets and the sources of their acquisition are being established.
Earlier, in Zaporizhia, law enforcement officers exposed the former head of the department of the main department of the State Tax Service. The woman is suspected of entering false information into the declaration. According to the investigation, the defendant hid the purchase of real estate in a popular resort in Bulgaria.
