Ex-General of the SSU Andriy Naumov was declared an international wanted by Interpol.

Interpol, at the request of the State Bureau of Investigation, declared Andriy Naumov, the former head of the Main Department of Internal Security of the Security Service of Ukraine, on international wanted list.

It is noted that on August 26, 2024, a red alert appeared in the records of the General Secretariat of Interpol.

Among other things, the SBI suspects a former official of fraudulently taking over UAH 3.2 million during his tenure as the head of a state-owned enterprise in 2019-2021

Andriy Naumov is a member of the EBK database.

Naumov left Ukraine on the eve of the full-scale invasion of Russia, and in the summer of 2022 he was detained in Serbia with undeclared cash - about 600,000 euros and 120,000 dollars.

There, a case was opened against him and he was sent to the pre-trial detention center. In August 2022, it became known that Naumov could receive asylum in Russia and become a participant in the pseudo-trial against President Zelensky in Russia. Currently, his activities are being investigated under the article "state treason".

In October 2022, the SBI notified Naumov of suspicion of fraud and causing losses to the state in the amount of more than 3.2 million hryvnias.

At the same time, Ukraine asked Serbia to extradite the official. According to the investigation, the official could collect and transfer data constituting a state secret to the Russian special services.
