Former Odesa District Court Head Appeals 7-Year Sentence

The Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court will consider appeals against the verdict sentencing the former acting head of the Kominternivskyi District Court of Odessa Oblast, Pavlo Dobrov, to 7 years in prison for receiving almost 50,000 hryvnias of illegal gain.
The High Anti-Corruption Court found Pavlo Dobrov, the former head of the Kominternivskyi District Court of Odessa region, guilty of receiving illegal benefits. He was sentenced to 7 years in prison, with a 3-year ban on holding positions in state and local government bodies, and confiscation of all property owned by him. Dobrov himself and his defense lawyers have filed appeals against this verdict.
