The head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC was arrested with a bail of 500 million hryvnias
The Pechersk District Court of Kyiv decided to take into custody the head of the Khmelnytskyi Medical and Social Expert Commission (MSEC) Tetiana Krupa, who is suspected of illegal enrichment, the Prosecutor General's Office reported.
At the request of the prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office, the Pechersk District Court of Kyiv chose a preventive measure in the form of detention of the head of the regional MSEC, who is suspected of illegal enrichment (Article 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
The suspect was taken into custody with the possibility of bail in the amount of 500 million hryvnias, which the prosecutors insisted on in their petition.
We will remind, on October 4, employees of the State Bureau of Investigation (SBI) exposed the head of the Khmelnytskyi MSEC and her son for illegal enrichment. During the searches, they found $6 million in cash, jewelry, and branded items. The woman tried to get rid of part of the money by throwing two bags with half a million dollars out the window.
On October 5, the heads of the MSEC in Khmelnytskyi region were informed about the suspicion.
