In the Kyiv region, police have reported suspicions to the former head of a municipal enterprise in the Boryspil region. He is accused of official negligence, which caused the local budget to suffer losses of over 400,000 hryvnias.

Thus, while in office, the former head of one of the municipal enterprises in the Boryspil region signed a contract for the purchase of generators that did not correspond to the market value, thereby causing losses to the local budget.

Investigators of the Yagotyn Police Department, during the pre-trial investigation, established that the enterprise had entered into an agreement with a company to purchase a backup power supply source that would ensure the operation of the water supply and sewage system.

Thus, the 65-year-old suspect signed the contract without checking the justification for the generator's cost. Investigators found that the signed contract did not correspond to market prices, and the contractor received excessive funds.

Investigators, under the procedural guidance of the Boryspil District Prosecutor's Office, informed the defendant of suspicion of official negligence, which led to serious consequences (Part 2 of Article 367 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

We previously wrote that BES detectives exposed an organized crime group that had stolen more than 10 million hryvnias from purchases of firewood for the Armed Forces of Ukraine . The group included the head of a state institution and two businessmen.

In addition, a scheme to illegally import 130 cars under the guise of humanitarian aid was uncovered in the Lviv region.
