The National Anti-Corruption Bureau is summoning former National Bank Chairman Kyrylo Shevchenko, former Deputy Chairman of the Board of Ukrgasbank Denys Chernyshov, and other individuals on February 28 to serve an indictment in the case of embezzlement of over UAH 206 million from Ukrgasbank.

The relevant summonses have been published on the NABU website.

Similar summonses for February 28 were issued against Chernyshov and his wife Natalia, former Deputy Director of the Department for Work with Corporate VIP Clients of Ukrgasbank Olena Khmelenko, former First Deputy Prosecutor General Mykola Gerasymiuk and his wife Kateryna.

In addition, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office recently completed investigating the case on suspicion of Serhiy Burkhan, the head of the Verkhniodniprovskyi District Court of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, in receiving $2,500 in illegal benefits.
