NABU completed investigation into ex-heads of Lviv commercial courts

NABU and SAPO have completed investigating cases on suspicion of abuse of power by judge of the Commercial Court of Lviv Region Vasyl Artimovych, former chairman of this court Mykhailo Yurkevich, former head of the Western Appeal Commercial Court Borys Plotnitsky, and judge of this court Iryna Malekh.
This was reported by the press services of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, but their names were not mentioned. According to media reports, these are the individuals mentioned.
The SAPO prosecutor has decided to complete the pre-trial investigation into the case of former chairmen of a regional commercial court, as well as the former chairman and judge of the appellate commercial court, suspected of extorting and receiving money from a representative of a private company for issuing court decisions, as well as influencing judges who considered the relevant court cases. Today, NABU detectives, on the instructions of the SAPO prosecutor, opened the case materials to the defense for review
We will remind, Vasyl Artymovych, Mykhailo Yurkevich and Borys Plotnitsky are the defendants of the "EBK" base.
Previously, the High Council of Justice suspended Vasyl Artimovych, a judge of the Commercial Court of Lviv Region, from administering justice, that is, from considering court cases, due to disciplinary action.
