NABU Completes Vecherko, Nemchynov Case

NABU and SAPO have completed investigating the case on suspicion of former MP Volodymyr Vecherko and former Deputy Minister of Energy Maksym Nemchynov in co-organizing abuses that led to over UAH 12 million in losses.
This is reported by the press services of the authorities, but they do not mention the names of the defendants. According to media reports, these are Vecherko, Nemchynov, as well as the former director of the state-owned enterprise "Ukrvuhilya" Vitaliy Zyusko.
The Prosecutor of the SAPO has decided to complete the pre-trial investigation into the case of three individuals suspected of abuses that, in the context of the energy crisis that arose as a result of the Russian aggression, caused millions of losses to one of the largest energy generating companies in Ukraine. These are: the former Deputy Minister of Energy; the former People's Deputy; the former director of the State Enterprise "Ukrvuhillya"

Previously, the Appeals Chamber of the High Anti-Corruption Court allowed an in absentia investigation into former MP Volodymyr Vecherko.
