Obligations for Ex-Supreme Court Head Knyazev Extended to December
The High Anti-Corruption Court has extended until December 28 the term of office of the former head of the Supreme Court Vsevolod Knyazev. The specialized anti-corruption prosecutor's office accuses him of receiving $1.8 million in illegal benefits. As you know, Knyazev was released from custody after paying more than UAH 18 million in bail.
The following duties were assigned to him: to arrive at every request; not to leave Ukraine without permission; notify about a change of residence and/or work; to refrain from communicating with the convicted Oleg Horetsky and the suspect Kostyantyn Zhevag, as well as witnesses; deposit foreign passports and wear an electronic bracelet. Later, the bracelet was removed from him. The SAP prosecutor asked to extend the remaining duties for another two months.
